Pricing
No service call puzzles and no surprise add ons. You approve the time estimate before the visit.
Materials: you can buy them, or Baldo buys them and you reimburse the same day with the receipt. Payment is due the same day the work is done: card online, Zelle, or cash. Cash is always good. Service area: Elsa, Edcouch, Donna, Weslaco and Alamo. Edinburg and McAllen for longer jobs.

I am Baldo Lopez, and I help seniors and families across Elsa, Edcouch, Donna, Weslaco and Alamo. For years I have helped my longtime client and friend Sheldon Davis, 78, with exactly this kind of work at his home, the small fixes, the everyday tasks, and the technology. Word got around his neighborhood and beyond, so I opened Baldo's Handyman Services to take on a few regular clients each month, with the same patience and the same standard: done right, explained plainly, and priced straight.
Jobs I do not take: painting, drywall work, roof work, major plumbing or major electrical, AC and heating repair, and any job that needs a license or a permit. If your job is one of those, I will tell you straight and point you to the right kind of pro.
Questions
$50 an hour. New clients book a 2 hour minimum on the first visit, which is why a list works best, we get a lot done in those two hours. After that, regulars can book shorter check visits.
Yes, and it happens often. They send the list, the estimate is confirmed with the family, and the visit happens at the senior's home at a time that works for everyone.
You hear that before any work starts, and you get referred to a trusted local pro for that part. There is no charge for that honesty.
Yes. Many regulars keep a running list and Baldo comes by once a month for about an hour to handle filters, batteries, bulbs and whatever has piled up.
Baldo's Handyman Services is a small, part time handyman service. I am not a licensed contractor, and I am not bonded or insured as a contractor. The work offered here is small handyman jobs that do not require a license or a permit. Jobs that need a licensed trade will be referred out.
